The centre is always short of pens, pencils, colouring pencils and rubbers. Bring clothes for the children as well as they are always welcomed.

Do not send anything by post as unfortunately things do go walkabout!

Do bring a lap top if you wish and it is hoped you will have daily internet access from your pousada where you live.

For working in the centre you need to dress appropriately. Smart casual is fine – jeans and flip flops and acceptable. The centre will provide you with a T shirt.

Bring your swimmers, sunglasses and hat.

Lots of sun tan lotion as the sun is very strong although you can buy lotion from one of the many chemists in Canavieiras.

Bedding is provided but do bring a towel for the beach. A sarong for the beach is the way the locals do it!
